I am writing in support of Steve Stuart for County Commissioner.
Steve brings balance to the board. His skills as a consensus builder are already evident. People from both political parties recognise his enthusiastic high energy level and innovative problem solving.
Steve has support from the other county commissioners and leadership in towns and neighborhoods. Many note his willingness to listen to their concerns. Better yet, he listens with a genuine desire to be informed, without arrogance.
Steve reflects local values, being raised in our rural area. His mother, a school teachers, instilled the importance of education. After a business degree, he went on to degrees in law and community planning. Steve is eminently well qualified for the growth issues of today. Credentials not offered by his opponent, who by his own words, decided to come out of retirement and run for office because he was no longer seeing a girlfriend and has excess time on his hands. Perhaps a better idea is to get a hobby.
