I went on a hike along what's hopefully going to become one of the best rails-to-trails projects in the country. Clark County Commissioner Steve Stuart was successful in obtaining a $450,000 grant to help scope and construct this much-wanted trail in Battle Ground. The goal is to have a trail that runs the full length of the railroad from Vancouver to Yacolt. Much work remains to be done to make this dream a reality.

I support the re-election of Stuart because he has shown his ability to support plans for the livability of this county.
